Yard Machines 31AS2N1C829
By Hugh(Owner), Nov. 24, 2010Works great!
Starts every time - every time.
Wish it had bigger wheels, but all of the competitors in this price range are the same.
We had over 60" of snow in a 2 month period last year, and i must say it did much better than i had expected. By early January, the snow was piled over 6' high on either side of the driveway. At that point, it had problems throwing the snow that high, but hey, i would have trouble throwing the snow that high.
This is the first snowblower that i have owned, and i was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well. My neighbor owns a Toro similar to the Yard Machine, and he came over to check it out because i was clearing a two car drive quicker than he was doing his single car.

By Hugh(Owner), Dec. 11, 2010Great machine for the money. Started last year at -20° - sitting in an unheated shed - without using the electric starter. I am IMPRESSED! -
Yard Machine Model 31as2n1c829
By Tim(Writer), Mar. 5, 2015I would not buy this snow blower. It worked o.k., was never the best but I guess decent for the price. However, in about my 5th use, the weld broke on the metal bracket which connects to the auger. I cannot believe the weld is that cheap that it just breaks. Now, instead of changing out the rubber pads, I am searching for an entire new auger. The chute clogs more than normal. I wish I would have spent more and increased the quality.
