    ran great for 10 minutes
after 10 minutes it would spit and sputter.

brought it back were I bought it (about 20 mile drive),
they said that it ran great
well the next snow we got was a 18"
took out the Simplicity expecting it to go right thru it.
well after 5-10 minutes it started acting up again, so I brought it back again.
they said they checked it and it was fine, I picked it up again after 3 days
next time I had to use it it did the same
I finally told them I wanted to exchange it
they finally figured out it was the gas cap! the factory sent it with a non-vented cap!
then I had to wait for 10 days to have a new cap shipped.
now it runs great, plenty of power
dont like that the drive sometimes dont engage occasionally, you need to lift the drive wheels and let them splin for a bit, then they work again

  • Great Snowblower!

I have had my Simplicity I1224E for 4 years now. It is a workhorse. It goes through snow much easier than my neighbors with much bigger models, and 3 stage units. I have to admit that i had snow blower envy this year after it seemed like yard man and MTD were handing out new snow blowers in my area. But I think the combination of the 24 inch cut and the powerful engine makes this thing work much better. and it seems the augers are much heavier duty than the other blowers out there.
