Snowblower Reviews

  • Awesome!
    By Bruce(Owner), Nov. 7, 2010
This is an awesome machine. Easy to start, reliable, easy to maintain, performs well and that Honda engine! All I can say is wow! I don't know what to complain about. Well, maybe I'll take that back, my one complaint is that Honda has made no provision for handlebar adjustment. My 6'3" body would like the bars to be a little higher for long snow blowing sessions. I can live with that but it would be nice....

    Otherwise, snow thrower perfection!

  • Hard to steer
    By Dale Obryon(Owner), Feb. 8, 2012
I purchased this snowblower based on the Honda reputation of durability and dependability. I own two other honda products (mower and weed eater) which I love. This unit is super quiet and seams to be built like a tank. My biggest complaint is that it's not the easiest to move around. I can't believe between the price paid and the technology Honda has that they could not have designed this with independent steering. My last two snowblowers were Cub Cadets and they both had trigger controls to stop drive to one side or the other in order to steer the machine along. I'm a 49 yr old in great shape but wrestling this machine when working close to the obstacles becomes back breaking. Don't get me wrong I love the overall build of this Snowblower I just wish it had more features for the price. I am seriously considering replacing it with a more user friendly model and therefore may need to leave the Honda lineup to do so. Something I don't really want to do. I waited a long time to pull the trigger on a Honda.

  • Back Firing @ Slow Speed
    By Leo Reding(Owner), Nov. 29, 2014
I Have A Honda HS1132TAS snowblower, have had it for approx. 3 years. we are having problems with it whereas for it to run reasonably you have to keep the choke out about 1/2 way otherwise it will backfire and pop like crazy, also when idleing, it backfires and pops a lot.Any Suggestions??
