  • My Niece in Connecticut Loves My Ariens Pro 32 Gift To Her!
    By Gerard nealon(Writer), Feb. 16, 2011
I 55 and live in Louisiana. I was up in CT this Christmas (2010)to visit my 30 year-old niece and her family. We were hit with that first blizzard up there in Niantic, CT., over Christmas vacation.

I caught the flu up there, and could only watch my niece and her husband shovel snow at midnight from their driveway through a window. I grew up in CT. and suddenly remembered how hard it was to shovel snow in my youth.

So when I got back to Louisiana, I decided to get them a snow blower as a gift. I researched online about snow blowers and got quite an education. First off, they needed a powerful 2-stage unit for their long gravel driveway. Then I researched the additional options: Halogen lamp for night-time use (blizzards don't always arrive between 9 AM to 5pm), warm handles, and particularly the need for all-steel construction, including the snow chute (I had read reviews about polymer and plastic snow chutes splitting in the cold due to a chunk of ice or debris). I read all the reviews and kept narrowing my selection down until I decided the Ariens Pro 32 was the best unit at the best price with highest reviews and customer satisfaction level.

I went back to Louisiana and bought this unit for them just in time for the next blizzard in 2011.

When they received shipment of it, they were ecstatic! My niece is thrilled with its power and options included. Her husband took it out during the second blizzard in CT in Jan 2011, and did all of his neighbor's driveways for free--because it was so quick, easy and FUN to do! He would not accept payment, but some of his neighbors bought diapers as a gift for their new baby as a thank-you, even the neighbors! How cool is that? Suddenly hard work becomes...FUN! I'm glad I identified this Ariens Pro 32 as the best choice out of all the available snow blowers on the market, a little research has gone a long way. And right now, I'm my niece's FAVORITE uncle!
